Try to wipe down your hardwood floors and kitchen and bathroom tile at least once a day to keep the hair that is tracked throughout your house to a minimum.

3. Wipe Your Dog's Feet

Whenever you go to take your dog outside, put an old towel and a small bowl of lukewarm water near the door. Train your dog so that he or she stops at the towel and lets you dip his or her paws in the water and wipe them off before entering the rest of the house.
